Excited!

Yeah the long weekend is almost here! Only 4.5 more hours of work (5.5 if you count lunch) and I'm home free for 3 days with not much responsibility beyond cleaning my house and waxing my legs. I can't wait.

We almost got the apartment stuff sorted out without much help of the chick who lives there. Basically we just found out what number her apartment was, went to her building, buzzed the manager and asked if we could see the apartment and fill out an application form. It went well I think. We should hopefully hear back today about it. I don't see why we wouldn't get it. We told her we needed to know by Saturday so that we could give our notice at our existing apartment and she said she'd try her best. If we don't hear back today I think we might go in and ask our current landlords what would happen if we gave our notice but then decided not to move. As long as they haven't promised it to someone else I don't see I problem do you? You never know with Boardwalk.

Other than that things are good. I'm been having a few troubles with one of the women at work but I promised Jesse I wouldn't gossip about it and I think it'll all be okay because my supervisor is on my side of things.

I'm really excited to go to Minot next week and at the possibility of moving. I can't wait to have a bigger place. Undoubtedly though you will hear something in the next month about how much moving sucks and I wish I didn't have to do it or at least that I could learn magic or hire Hermione to come and move it with the flick of a wand. That would be nice.

Well that's it. Gotta go. Work to be done.

Ciao.

I'm so excited at the amount of blogging going on lately. Almost every blog that I check on a regular basis has been updated in the past 5 days or so. Maybe we're all getting a little bored of Facebook? I know I kinda am. I mean once you've found all your friends and taken a peek at their pictures and profiles to see what they've been up to what else is there to do? Take quizzes about what cartoon character you are and post it in case somebody else cares? Don't get me wrong I still like facebook but I just can't seem to waste 2 hours a night perusing it anymore.

Besides that...let's see....

Life has calmed down A LOT in the last week. I almost don't know what to do with myself anymore. Though I do spend a chunk of my time trying to keep track of all the eye and dental forms and making sure that they all make it to one or both of Jesse's health coverage companies and then to mine in the proper order. His go to his first and to mine and vice versa. It's alot to keep track of. We had a big presentation at work yesterday because our benefits are improving which is nice. We now all get $500 per year to spend on whatever we want health wise which means laser eye surgery or viagra (that went over big) or things that the existing plan doesn't cover 100%. I think I'm going to use mine to help cover my braces. I have my first ortho appointment next Thursday morning and their going to do molds and stuff. I'm looking forward to getting the ball rolling with this. I'm also looking forward to the long weekend coming and then I'm also taking a long weekend the next weekend to go to Minot with Mom so my next two weeks are looking pretty awesome. I have 3 days of work now and then a 3 day weekend, then three more days of work (one of which will be cut into for my ortho appointment) and then 3 more days off. Pretty sweet eh?

Let's see what else...

I've been going to Curves for about a week and a half now (tonight will be my 6th workout) and I've gained about 2.5 pounds which sucks but it could be muscle and I haven't been eating the healthiest. Overall I'm about 30 pounds heavier than I was at my lowest last summer. I don't know how it happened but I'm working on it.

We are also thinking about moving apartments. Jill has a friend that is moving out of a huge cheap apartment right across the back alley from us so we really want it. It's only 30$ more a month that what we're paying now and it's got a second bedroom and probably twice the square footage. I really want it but Jill's friend keeps "forgetting" to call us and if we don't get this settled by Saturday so that we can give our notice at our apartment them we can't take it. Please pray that she calls us TONIGHT!

School wise Jesse and I finished out French class with flying colours. Jesse got 80% and I got 95%. We're really happy. So now Jesse starts a new Econ class (his new major) next week and I have my application in to Athabasca University. It cost me $265 to apply and to get them to evaluate my transfer credits. This better work out. I just don't think that I'll ever finish my degree trying to pick up evening classes at the University. Now that I have a year round job and can't take summer classes I'll never pick up everything I need. So please pray that I get LOTS of transfer credits.

Well that's about all I think. Either way I should get back to work. Thanks for all the blogs I love hearing what's going on in your lives. Darrell's was really encouraging today you should all read it (just follow the link on left hand side).

Can You Spell B...U...S..Y..

It seems that people (or at least the people I know) are not blogging very much anymore, me included... maybe we're all to busy on Facebook.....though really most of the people's blogs who I check regularly aren't the most avid facebookers either...is it possible that you all got real lives outside your computers and left me behind???!!......NAH! :)

So here's the latest update.

Life has been SUPER crazy busy lately! This week was already a full week with doctor's, and eye appointments, dates with Jill to got to Curves, our last French class, and plans to go with Tina (a friend from work) to a play when... we got a message on our machine on Tuesday that Jesse's parents were already on their way to Regina to visit us last minute and they would be here that night! I have one thing to say about this: AHHHHHHHHH! Now don't get me wrong I like Jesse's parents just fine (much more than most people like their in-laws I think) but I was not prepared for this. The house was a DISASTER, I had tons of homework and other plans, this was not a good week. So with a lot of stress, creative planning, and begging receptionists for appointments next week, I managed to work it out so that we actually got to spend some time with Jesse's parents while they are here. Then.... I get a call from my sister and my mom and later my brother-in-law and it turns out that we ARE invited to my sister's big 30th Birthday Bash this weekend in Gull Lake and could we please come. There goes my homework and sleep time for this week! So now right after work today I have to stop at the library (which stupidly closes at 6), meet Jill at Curves at 5:30, work-out for a half hour, rush home, take a shower and change before 6:30 when my Mom comes, go out for dinner with both sets of parents (who haven't met since the wedding), come home and pack for this weekend and set up Mom's bed on out living room floor, go the Relay For Life tonight and watch them light the luminaries (I bought one for my Dad), sleep (maybe), get up and drink much coffee before I jump in Mom's van because we have to be in Gull Lake BEFORE noon (it's about 3 1/2 hours from here) so that I can baby-sit the nephews while everyone else golfs all afternoon (I would golf but I'd rather babysit!) then go to Beth's party, sleep again (hopefully), then get up drive all the way back home so that I can do the mountain of homework and studying that needs to be done before my Final on Tuesday. Then be back at work at 8:00 Monday morning. Man I'm tired already! Next week isn't that much better either because I have my final and now a doctor appointment, eye appointment, AND dentist appointment on top of the First Aid training that I'm taking at work on Monday and Tuesday that apparently has a lot of homework to do on Monday night.

Does anyone wanna trade? Or last least sleep extra for me this weekend and send some energy my way. I'm going to need it! :)

Love you all (well not everyone out there in computer land because there are some creeps out there but the ones I know and love - you know who you are).
